Don't screw around with "media designhouses" or "creative groups". I am a 22 year old senior in mechanical engineering with a light course load this semester and I need cash!
I am fully acquainted with HTML(XHTML), XML, CSS, PHP, Javascript and currently studying Flash/Flex/Actionscript as we speak (let's face it that stuff is the future). I also can properly set up your servers and basically anything else you ask of me. If I don't know it it, I'll learn it... I am an engineer after all and that's kinda what we do. I am also available to work with you if need be... I'm not the type to be holed up in my dark room. In fact, I prefer personal interaction when it comes down to the dirty work (I'm the most outgoing nerd you'll ever meet).
Interested? Don't hesitate to drop a line or come by Coffea Island on Rose St. where I do a majority of my work. 99% of the time I can get back to you within an hour or two during normal waking hours - if not sooner.
Oh yeah, I'm pretty cheap too compared to these guys that make a career of this. In case you didn't know, web design as a full time career is a terrible, terrible field to be in due to outsourcing. So when you check out those big guys, you are gonna pay just as big of bucks and you have my word that my work will be just as good, if not better. What people don't realize too is that aesthetics are just a mere fraction of the design of a site. Clean code from someone who has taken Computer Science classes at UK and understands how to actually program in REAL languages (C++ and the like) is far more important and will keep the site from breaking if the server hosts decide to make a hasty change (this happens more than I'd care to deal with). In fact it's kind of sad to see people who are so proficient with Photoshop and other graphic programs be so poor at the programming end.
I also won't lock you out of your site like some of those big companies notoriously do. When I am done with the site, it is all yours and I will show you how to change all of your passwords personally. You can feel free to keep using my services, do it yourself or go elsewhere... I'm not going to screw you over like that.
I also do all types of computer repair but who doesn't? If you need some of that too, I charge well under Geek Squad services usually but I typically avoid the work because there is usually always someone that can undercut me (unless you ask real nice).
I look forward to hearing from anyone who can use my services!!!
