UPDATE: 10-26-09: Meet Chance! This poor boy was in desperate need of rescue when we heard about him. Chance was born by a senior 'farm dog' that wandered on to this family's property. Chance was the only puppy left after the mama dog had a litter (by the neighborhood dog) and the family did not have a lot of time to train him. When they would open his kennel they would let him run around on the farm and he subsequently got his back end ran over TWICE by a semi. Thankfully no pernament damage was caused and Chance has not lost his spirit! Chance is a beautiful fluffy dog that has the sweetest 'puppy dog eyes' you have ever seen. He really makes you want to melt when he looks at you. He is fully grown, only about 1 1/2 years old, and weighs about 45lbs. He would be the perfect dog for anyone who wants a great companion. He doesn't particularly get along with other dogs, but I feel that this will change when he gets neutered because he won't have so many hormones in him. Chance has had a fresh shave down and is clean and ready to find his new home! Once we shaved him you could tell he felt much better and was ready to start a new life! Chance needs to be fixed before he goes home, but as soon as we get an approved application this can be done. If you think you are the right person for Chance please contact us today. We cannot continue to rescue more dogs in need until we find forever homes for the ones we currently have. Chance's adoption fee is $125.00, this helps cover the cost of his neuter, microchip, tests and shots.
