If you think you could give this little blind fella a home then please contact us today! Meet Pauly Pug! Pauly is a small pug weighing around 15 lbs. He is estimated to be around 3-5 years old. He does this cute little dance when he is standing and you call his name. He sleeps peacefully in a crate at night. He is potty trained and will whine or cry to go out to do his business. He is blind (Unfortunately due to bad breeding he was born this way). Are you the person willing to give this little fellow a chance to show what he can do instead of what he cannot? He was in a shelter and they were going to euthanize him. He was rescued and then when it was discovered that he was blind he was once more scheduled to die. He was rescued again and now he is looking for his forever home, or someone to help rescue him and give him the one on one attention he deserves! Please note that there are many great resources for living with blind dogs on the internet... Blindness is much harder on the owner than it is on the dogdogs adapt to the situation.its the people with the hang ups about it. Dogs just rely more on their other sensessmell, sound, etc. Put a different candle scent in each room or sachet packets on door knobs to signal where the door is located to go out to potty, etc. Check out these sites to find out just how easy it is to care for a special needs pug. Pauly will be neutered before he goes home which is why his adoption fee is $125.00. This helps offset the cost of his neuter, microchip, shots, test, and x-rays.
