Meet Sarah! Sarah, whose family renamed Penguin, is a beautiful, sweet 6-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who loves to snuggle and absolutely adores children, but has a lot of puppy energy. She was fostered with P.A.W.S. as a baby and adopted into a good family at about 12 weeks old. The family has 3 little boys under the age of 6 who all love Sarah and Sarah has been great with them. Unfortunately, Sarah is now about 6 months old and very energetic. The family has found that although they love her very much, they do not have the time or energy to give her the attention she needs and deserves, so they have brought her back to P.A.W.S. She is back with her original foster family. Sarah loves to play with the other dogs in the family and gets along fine with the cats. She is almost housebroken, does pretty well on a leash, and we are working on crate training. She is used to sleeping with the children at night, so she only stays in the crate during the day. She does very well sleeping through the night either on her bed in the bedroom or on the people bed. She knows some basic obedience and trains easily after some exercise. She is very smart and loves to play, so she would do best in a family where she could get plenty of exercise and interaction. She will probably be a medium to large dog. Please note: This wonderful dog cannot go to his/her new home until the adoption application is completed and approved and the dog has been spayed/neutered.
