Meet Chocolate! He is about 10 months old (as of 9/3) and is a Labrador Retriever/Hound mix. He is a handsome dog with a nice sleek coat. He was found as a stray by a local farmer who is fostering him for us. He is good with other dogs. He will chase cats if they run from him. He is a laidback dog, but still playful. He is friendly with people, but when approached will roll over. He lacks confidence and is unsure of what to expect. Once you pet him, he becomes a happy dog whose tail will wag away. He is more timid with men and seems to prefer the company of women. But he will be fine with men who will be gentle with him and allow him to build his trust and confidence. Chocolate is ready for a home and hopes you will consider him. Please note: This wonderful dog cannot go to his/her new home until the adoption application is completed and approved and the dog has been spayed/neutered.
