Labrador Retriever - Large - Young - Male - Dog - Rex-fostered

Life was all fine and dandy until last week when my family asked me "Wanna go for a ride?". Of course I wanted to go for a ride! I thought that I would be going back home but instead they brought me here to the shelter. As they left me, in the cold concrete kennel, they told me that I would find a good home. I really hope that is true, but word on the street is that a lot of the dogs that come here don't find a new home. I heard someone say that I don't have much time left but if I can't go back home, I can't stay here and noone want's to adopt me....where will I go? Can you please help me? Can you find it in your heart to let me come live with you? Rex needs an experienced handler, as he is a high energy animal, and also has too much energy to leave unsupervised around children. He would do best on a large property, or he will need a lot of exercise.
