A good seamstress is hard to find but I am that seamstress! I am a professional, extremely skilled in my trade with high quality work results. I do not produce anything that doesn't fit my high standards. I have over 39 years of sewing experience. I do alterations of all sorts, from simple repairs to complicated restyling, couture quality clothing, wedding gown alterations, general mending, replacing zippers, buttons, hemming, making custom designed clothing, costumes, racing silks, general sewing, vintage clothing reproductions, window treatments, basically whatever my clientele's needs are. I have recently begun to work with auto upholstery vinyl. Consultations are free but limited to 45 minutes max. There is never a job too small or too big, so don't hesitate to contact me. I am located in Nicholasville in a smoke free home. Looking forward to working with you! I have posted a few pictures of things that I have made. A 1940's pinup outfit that went to California. The blouse fabric was made from actual 1940's fabric that I was lucky to find. I made the back of a wedding dress into a beautiful corset style for a local bride. She wanted a corseted wedding dress but couldn't find one, in the end she got want she wanted, her dream wedding dress. The result was absolutely fabulous! The skull and crossbones racing silk was made for a horse farm in Texas. The robe was made for a local wrestler, a Christmas present from his wife. My first wrestling robe, I enjoyed making it and he enjoys wearing it! Turned out really cool. With my vintage clothing the majority of the patterns that I use to make my designs are actual vintage patterns others are reproductions from that era. Any questions please feel free to ask.
